Eco Housing

by Panacea University
December 30th, 2008

If you create your own electricity, heating and water systems, you create your own politics. Maybe that’s what they’re afraid of.”

-Michael Reynolds Earth ship.

There is an ever-increasing availability of cost efficient products and leading edge technologies which makes it easier to build more sustainable and healthy living spaces without compromising aesthetics and exceeding the budget. In recent times it has not only become possible, but also economically viable to install clean energy systems, deal with water quality and wastewater solutions at the same time. – Mario Grzinic ecosustainable desings.

It is possible to improve and upgrade both our educational system  and the construction industries that build housing worldwide. The goal of this enhancing can, and should be, the reduction of the ecological footprint left by the human population on this planet. This ecological footprint, be it balanced, or, as currently is, unbalanced, is rapidly becoming an issue for the survival of the human race, civilization and culture – and also, more pressingly, the wellbeing of our whole planet.

It is logical, necessary, and extremely important to address the issue of the complete ecological footprint of the human race. The youth of today will also have to take note of the population growth in the future, whilst taking care to work to introduce further ecological re-balancing of the conditions on this planet.

We know this is important. You also know this is extremely important. However, this type of knowledge has not – as of yet – received widespread public grant-support, and is not currently taught in all school curricula.

Furthermore, it is not mandated by law.We here at Panacea-BOCAF are aware of the fact that working designs, focused on integrating water-purification, energy-creation, and green building systems are without doubt the most important steps to take – in order to ensure the conservation of our planet’s natural flora and fauna – and therefore the physical and mental health of human beings on this planet. Some of the fundamentals are, for instance, sustainable treatment of wastewater, and retention of water acquired during storms.

Self-sustainable ecological housing planning that moves forwards into off-the-grid decentralized communities are specifically designed for ensuring conservation. Preservation of local cultures also ensues – moving from the town-level all the way down to the neighbourhood-level. What we consider a perfect introductory example of a successful model of this concept – minus the ecological and energetic housing upgrades – is available here.

Each neighborhood and group of neighborhoods in a zone or culture in the town is a partial modular mini-replica of the town, in terms of security, self-sustainability, and local community sharing of resources such as utilities (energy, water), security, elderly and child care, education, elders council, entertainment, co-op food, and materials farming and crafts production.

Future Wonders of Green Technology: From Spinning Towers to Seawater Greenhouses

The following solutions are based on the essential work and progress of architects, engineers and ecologists who are incorporating working, sustainable technological concepts into all of their design projects.

Even existing houses can be made ECO efficient with existing solution including a Solar net metering plan and using pesticidal fungi that trick insects into eating them!

There is a multitude of solutions – solutions which are easily comprehended and absolutely feasible – including the design science worldview of Buckminster Fuller (key notes would be the Dymaxion House and the Dymaxion Deployment Unit – which are precursors of ecological, selfsustainable living systems that are portable, dependable, and tornado-proof.). In addition to Buckminster Fuller we would also like to point out the following Eco-housing designs.

The following are engineering ETHICS which have been done by Affordable Environmental Homes. These must be implemented into the building code.

* To provide affordable housing for those in need.

* To design and build homes of high quality yet low maintenance.

* To design and build self sustainable homes utilising smart technology.

* To design and build homes thermostatically stable and fire resistant.

* To design and build homes in harmony with the environment and natural resources.

* To design and build non-toxic homes sensitive to the wellbeing and health of families.

* To design and build homes that provide privacy, space and peace of mind.

The business concept of AEH Affordable Environmental Homes Project is to design and build for the people of Australia complete packages of Affordable, Quality, Sustainable, Environmental and Smart Homes and Housing Estates that meet the Community’s futuristic requirements. -End

You, who are in charge of an institution, an aid-agency, or are a politician – you, who are a member of the general public, you can assist this sustainable development. Please contact Panacea-BOCAF.

Panacea has recently teamed up with Mario Grzinic of the Eco sustainable Hub group. Mario is already experienced in the planning and implementation of Eco housing development programs for the Australian Industry, and also in securing government support. With Grants and legislation Mario and Panacea can help the education and Implementation of Eco housing to benefit the public.

Panacea’s open source engineers have also uncovered home efficient Solar and Home power systems. These can be found on the Panacea University web site.

It is time we start to raise awareness to transcend the need for change. We are stealing our children’s future. Do you we want to be known as the generation that led this planet to its own demise.

There are some innovative & exciting projects going on all over the world. Awareness in this green sustainable & conscience rewarding movement is gaining momentum. Soon, this will be the mainstream & what we call the housing industry today will be redundant & a vulgar stain on our past.
